Purpose of Scouting

Since 1910, the Boy Scouts of America has helped younger boys appreciate the outdoors, learn how to work with others, make new friends and so much more.

In Cub Scouting, boys and their families have fun and adventure in a program that builds character and instills positive values. Cub Scouting embraces: citizenship, faith, compassion, cooperation, courage, health, honesty, perseverance, resourcefulness, respect, and responsibility.

The Cub Scout program teaches and encourages - while having fun, these activities offer opportunities for growth, achievement, and family involvement.
